James Yigitoz‘s Jaded Voice have released heavy new 10-song full length by name of Wake/Exist. This is the first release for the Oshawa hardcore band since their 2011 debut.
We spoke to James about the new record:
We were so stoked to release our first Full Length album in July as a studio album, and even more stoked when our good friends Geoff Ellman and Nick Glavina from local GTA bands River City and Afterall decided to join after listening to it. We’ve always tried to push the envelope and try new things within the genre, but we felt like we laid a solid foundation with this record. Phil Larochelle and I wrote and recorded Wake/Exist DIY style in basements and closets across the GTA. Straight Edge audio veteran, Alex Vigneault of Andromeda Studios, used his magic talents for the mix and master.
We want to play the world, so listen and wait to see us in your local scene in the coming months.
Wake/Exist is now available for download through the Jaded Voice Bandcamp page.
