Nashville straight edge band Orthodox have released their Clear Minded Records debut EP. The new record, entitled Give Me A Reason, features four tracks of hard-hitting heavy hardcore.
We spoke to vocalist Adam Easterling about the record:
This album, much like the last, is rooted in struggle and angst. I’m well-aware of the similar struggles our listeners go through, and that gives me a reason to keep pushing the pen to paper. The unending support and surprising amount of fans and friends we’ve met along the way make the stress and hardship that go into this band beyond worth it. We never thought we’d have gone where we already have, and can’t wait to see where this takes us and who we’ll meet next. As for a quote from the band as a whole about the new music, it still remains the same.
“This album is for anyone who has ever fallen victim to actions stricken from the hands of an addict. You Do Not Deserve It. You Are Not To Blame.” XXX
