Today we are featuring the latest record from Pilipinas hardcore band REACT. The band is fronted by Paul from the Straight Edge band xFORTRESSx. REACT are based out of Batangas, which is about 60 miles (100km) from the capital Manila. Listen to the new record 'True Grit' below.
We spoke to Paul about his band, and the new record:
True Grit is about unwavering perseverance, resilience, and courage in the face of adversity. In an age where distractions are endless and temptations constant, the path isn’t always easy. True Grit isn’t for those seeking comfort; it’s for those who seek meaning, those who are willing to do the work, face the struggle, and build something real within themselves and in the world around them, even when few trust or believe in them.
We dedicate this to the hardcore and to the straight edge scene. We always choose to inspire and spread positivity in the community.
