Down to Nothing drummer Daniel Spector has been featured on CBS Television News in his hometown of Richmond, VA. In a piece straight out of The Hard Times, Spector has been featured because of his role as a full-time emergency room doctor at Chippenham Medical Center. The piece is even called Down To Nothing’s bone-crushing, hardcore drummer now an ER doctor. Watch the full television piece below.

Richmond is famous around the world for its heavy music scene… one of its best known is straight edge hardcore punk band Down To Nothing.

The piece features an interview with Spector, the band’s role as ambassadors for their home town, how being straight edge has enabled Daniel to succeed in medicine, as well how having Dave Wood (DTN frontman and Terror bassist) touring with Terror has significantly reduced Down To Nothing’s touring obligations. Author Mark Holmberg, a long-time fan of the band, also shouts out local legends Strike Anywhere and Avail. Read the full piece on the CBS 6 website.
