Updated: Jona Weinhofen’s Bring Me The Horizon were involved in an altercation yesterday while performing at Salt Lake City’s In the Venue as part of their current headlining North American tour.

The band halted their set during the opening number as the result of a fight breaking out within the crowd. Singer Oliver “Oli” Sykes was then attacked by attendees after having the troublemakers ejected from the venue. Security was able to control the situation, but not before the stage was rushed by crowd members fighting to either protect or assault the singer.

The band returned to complete their set following a half hour break.
