The Global Commission on Drug Policy has released an animated video parable of the War on Drugs. The launch of the animated video, entitled War on Drugo, coincides with the release of the commissions new report, Taking Control: Pathways to Drug Policies that Work. Watch the video below:
In a fairytale setting, the movie explains the disastrous war on drugs by telling the story of a dragon banished from an ancient kingdom, and how people that spent time with the dragon were thrown in jail.
The Global Commission on Drug Policy is a consortium of former European and Latin American leaders, Kofi Annan, and Richard Branson, who work to end the criminalization of drug use and the War on Drugs.
