Asa Butterfield as Jude in Ten Thousand Saints
The first trailer has debuted for the upcoming full-length film adaptation of Eleanor Henderson’s 2011 novel Ten Thousand Saints. The film, starring Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld, Emile Hirsch, and Ethan Hawke, is the story of three teenagers growing up in the late 80’s New York straight edge scene after the overdose of a friend. The film had its premiere screening at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival in January.
Ten Thousand Saints was written for the screen and directed by Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini. The official release in both a limited run and through video on demand will be August 14, 2015. Will you be going to see it? Let us know below.
