Toronto’s Mad Trapper have released their debut EP, a blistering assault of technical thrash punk. The EP, entitled Kill Us, Start Anew, is as the band describes it an ode to aggression from start to finish.
We spoke to vocalist Danny Surjanac about the record:
If you don’t like our album, then that’s cool. Music is completely subjective and to expect to create music that absolutely everyone will enjoy is to set yourself up for certain failure right from the start. We do not expect anyone to like it, but those who do we owe many kind thanks to, and despite everything aforementioned, those who don’t can respectfully go fuck themselves.
Kill Us, Start Anew is currently available for download through the Mad Trapper Bandcamp page.
