El Salvador straight edge band Toma El Riesgo has released a new EP, entitled Nunca Dejará de Latir. The EP was recorded and produced by vocalist Jorge Erazo and the band, and is being released through their own label Solid Foundation Records. The EP features guest appearances by members of Nunca Es Tarde, ¡Tomar Control!, and Sentencia, among others. Listen to the new record below.
We spoke to guitar player Joel Rodríguez about the new EP:
This record is very meaningful to us for many reasons. Is the first record we have fully produced and recorded by ourselves in our own label (Solid Foundation Records), all DIY, every song was made with a lot of heart and inspired by the people and friends that have [stuck] with us over the years and it features many of our good friends from all over the world, July Salazar from ¡Tomar Control! (Peru), Alexander Arana from Sentencia, Wolf from Nunca Es Tarde (Panamá), and Darío Santoyo from Fuerza de Lucha (Spain).
We poured our heart into this E.P. and wish that everyone that takes the chance to listen to it feels the spirit and dedication in [these] songs.
