Today we are featuring the debut record from new Philadelphia Straight Edge band TRASHxSTRIKE. The band has released their debut promo tape. For the digital release, the band recorded back from tape in order to "make it sorta sound like shit like that dusty ass tape you still have from when you were a teenager" - listen to the new record below.

A little bit about us: We formed during the Philadelphia sanitation strike back in July of this year. The name TrashXStrike just seemed to fit. It was the product of a response to a craigslist ad from our guitar player looking to start a straight edge band. With this demo/promo we wanted to go back to our roots and capture that DIY feeling. Trying to get that sound of a demo recorded on an old tascam 4 track. Tapes were dubbed on a shitty boombox and put together by hand. We just picked up a new drummer and bass player and are looking forward to getting out there. Hope to see you soon! XXX
