Boston-based entrepreneur and public speaker Johnny Cupcakes has announced that he will be closing the flagship retail location of his Johnny Cupcakes clothing brand to focus on a new career in marketing. The Johnny Cupcakes store has been a fixture on Newbury Street in Boston since 2006. Cupcakes (real name Johnny Earle) has announced his intention to move the Johnny Cupcakes clothing brand to a subscription service in 2025. This would mean the closure of his online store offering as well as a network of retailers carrying the brand throughout the United States.
