Vincent Bennett‘s The Acacia Strain are expected to sit out a run of Canadian shows following a vehicular accident last night. A drunk driver ran into the band’s van outside their Webster Theater show in Hartford, CT. No one was injured, but the van is not safe to drive.
From the band:
Due to a drunk driver hitting our van last night, we will be missing tonight in Montreal and tomorrow in Toronto. We PROMISE we will do shows to make these up as soon as we can. See you in Cleveland.
From Bennett’s Twitter:
This cool drunk dude ran into our van while it was parked. What a cool guy. pic.twitter.com/3818LTCr6e

The Acacia Strain are currently on tour with Emmure and Kublai Khan as part of the Eternal Enemies tour. No word yet on which shows the band will miss or if the shows will be made up at a future date.
