Tyler Ross and his band Being As An Ocean have announced their signing to Equal Vision Records. Included in the announcement is a brand new music video off the upcoming record. The video, for the song Dissolve, is produced, directed, and edited by Ross. It is the first release since the departure of drummer Connor Dennis. Dennis left to pursue a career as a session drummer. Watch the video for the new video below.

From the press release:

“We are ecstatic to finally get the opportunity to work with the family at Equal Vision Records,” lead vocalist Joel Quartuccio says. “Our relationship has been a long time in the making, and it is like a dream come true to be able to call ourselves part of the team. Ever since we met Dan Sandshaw, EVR’s president, we knew that the label’s ethos and passion for the music was akin to our own and that we didn’t want to settle for anything less. We are eternally grateful to EVR for sticking it out through the years with us to see this beautiful partnership to fruition.”

“‘Dissolve’ has been about 3 to 4 months in the making, being written over one of our longest timelines, and we think it is one of our best yet. We, simply, have never had the time to make something this special before, and I think it really shows,” Quartuccio explains of the song. “In 2016, our listeners and fans should expect a lot of amazing tours, more and more singles, and a band full of best friends excited and ready to make this year one of the best that Being As An Ocean has ever had.”

Catch the band on tour now with Paul Koehler’s Silverstein. Being As An Ocean’s Equal Vision debut will be recorded later in 2016.
