Montreal’s favorite sons, Hopeless Youth have followed up with the release of their superb full length with a new music video, for the song Ghost. It’s the first video off their latest album Disgust, out now through Candelight Records.
We spoke with John Donnelly about the new video.
We shot the video for “Ghost” back in January. We’re really pleased with how it turned out.
We rented four hunting cabins about an hour out of Montreal. We carried/dragged our gear in the snow and on the ice deep in the woods. There were no roads to drive the gear in, and we had about five hours of daylight to work with.
We all slipped at least once.
The video is directed and edited by JP Charlebois, with assistance by Philippe Ouellette. Disgust is available now through Candlelight Records., and can be streamed in full here.
