Long Island former metal band The World We Knew has announced that they will be breaking up following a few shows in early 2013. Frank Fanelli, vocalist for the band, issued a statement via video.
Formed in 2004, the band suffered through innumerable line-up changes and the collapse of their record label, surviving to complete three albums, including a debut on Seventh Dagger.

After 3 full length CD’s, 3 record labels, 40 tours, and nearly 1,000 shows, THE WORLD WE KNEW will be ending their 8 year career with Stillborn Fest, and one final tour in February, 2013.
