Buffalo Straight Edge band Clear Focus have released their debut 7-inch, entitled Never Ending Pain. The EP features guest appearances by vocalists from other Buffalo straight edge bands including Julie White from Selective Aggression and Spat from Edge Control. Listen to the new record below.
We spoke to the band about the record:
Many hardcore bands from the 90s victory records era played a huge influence on this record musically. That being said, it was important to us to do our own thing and not try to sound like only one band or one particular sound. The lyrical content ranges from me reflecting on [a] very long and difficult time in my life, to a song about someone very special to me. I tried to write lyrics that were very personal to me and my life and tried to stray away [from] just stock straight edge lyrics.
Never Ending Pain was recorded by Jay Zubricky of GCR Audio. The physical record release includes colored vinyl, and is being handled by Safe Inside Records.The record is available now to download or stream through the Safe Inside Records Bandcamp page.
